Week 4 Tasks

  • Read samples of movie reviews. 

  • Work with your group members on your comparative movie review plan. 

  • Submit your movie review plan to your VoiceThread group for feedback. 

Step By Step

1. Read film review guide and samples of the movie reviews here.  Watch the brief movie review video below. These resources will help you understand how to approach the writing of a comparative movie review.

2. Work with your group members who will collaborate with you on the multimodal movie review. Decide: 

  • What platform you will use for your final movie review, Canva? Tumblr? Youtube? Other? 

  • What aspects you will focus your comparison on? You may want to refer to last week's discussion questions.

3. Follow the instructions of the movie review plan and submit your plan for instructor and peer feedback on VoiceThread in your group. You should easily be able to add slides/content to an existing VT (review this guide).
